Walter Reed Birthday Bash

Already missing summer and want to relive summer camps when the fall hits? Less than a month from now, we will celebrate the 173rd birthday of Dr. Walter Reed by hosting a one-day archaeological "summer camp!" We will have a test unit open for kids of all ages to help us dig! Additional activities include a brick-building activity, a historical interpretation of medical tools Walter Reed may have used, and an exploration inside his tiny birthplace in Belroi! We will send out a scavenger hunt about Walter Reed and Gloucester soon so you can do it and submit it on the big day for prizes!
