Stratford Hall is delighted to announce that Caroline E. Janney will deliver the 2025 Lee Lecture in the Jessie Ball duPont Memorial Library at Stratford Hall. A distinguished scholar and engaging public speaker, Janney has published eight books, including Remembering the Civil War and Ends of War: The Fight of Lee’s Army after Appomattox, winner of the 2022 Gilder Lehrman Lincoln Prize. Her work invites audiences to explore the profound complexities of the Civil War and its lasting legacy.
