CW Garden Party
Everyone loves to dress up, and a colonial garden party at the Governor’s Palace was a singular experience for those who love to imagine themselves in the 18th century. Gentlemen donned breeches, wigs and waistcoats, while ladies selected fine dresses and extravagant hair accessories. Guests toured thePalace, enjoyed the spring evening and admired each other’s couture. The evening included live musicians, dancing and all in attendance toasted to “May frivolity” with Mr. Thomas Jefferson. The evening ended with fireworks—a grand finale to an exquisite evening.
