The Virginia Aquaculture oyster growers are all about quality. They take pride in making sure that their oysters are consistent in quality, taste and size to meet all market demands. Triploid oysters are oysters that are sterile that put all their energy into a fast grow out and none into breeding which make a fat oyster year round. Diploid oysters which can reproduce are the Bays natural brood stock and are grown in our local watershed.
