Imagine a lovely spring day as you stroll along the Yorktown waterfront admiring beautiful artwork. Wait! Why imagine it? You can make that vision a reality at the 12th annual Art at the River!
This juried art show features the work of more than 35 local artists. Painters, photographers, potters, jewelers, and other creatives will display their work along Riverwalk Landing, all hoping to take home the People’s Choice Award.
A new addition this year: The Yorktown Plein Air, where artists will gather to paint scenic views outdoors (more details coming soon!).
The free, accessible Yorktown Trolley will be running from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. during this event.
This event is presented by the Art at the River Committee in conjunction with York County and the Yorktown Foundation, with support from the Celebrate Yorktown Committee, the Economic Development Authority, and the York County and Williamsburg Area Arts Commissions.
