Both soothing and sophisticated, Village View offers an urban feel in a completely redone 165-year-old general store. A garden path leads to the entrance and back yard, cozy with a fire table and chairs.
This sleek apartment, designed for one or two guests, is done in white and gray with black accents that set off the abundant sunshine pouring in from windows in every room. Or pull down the solar shades and put an album on the turntable—the curated collection spans Bowie to Harry Styles—and enjoy a complimentary bottle of wine. Only the cushion in one of the swivel chairs reminds you where you are: “Irvington 22480.”
Thoughtful touches abound: blackout shades and curtains for sleeping in; charging station, sound machine and USB ports throughout; a heated towel rack and spa robes. There are bikes, yoga mats, and tennis and pickleball racquets for active guests.
From the lofty perch of Village View above Vine wine bar, guests have a bird’s eye view of the village green and monthly farmers’ market. Come mealtime, cook in the well-equipped kitchen, hire a private chef, or dine at one of the seven restaurants within walking distance. Available through harmonizedgetaways.com.
