A clothing boutique, a hair salon, an interior design store, a frozen yogurt business, a distillery and two brewing companies are just some of the new businesses that opened or relocated to the Williamsburg area in early spring and summer.
• Life is Good Williamsburg gift store opened in New Town in June.
• LOKAL, specializing in gelato, frozen yogurt, and smoothies, opened its doors on Prince George Street in May.
• Decorating Den Interiors, an interior design and home décor store, began operations in June.
• Virginia Beer Company started taking customers in the spring on Second Street.
• Brass Cannon Brewing Company, which relocated from Toano to a new building on Mooretown Road, opened in July.
• Copper Fox Distillery opened on Capitol Landing Road in early July.
• Whitley’s Hair Studio, LLC opened in July on Ironbound Road, along with the women’s clothing boutique, Three Sisters, on Prince George Street, and Room Escape Williamsburg, the escape room attraction, on Mount Vernon Avenue.
