Music. Beer. Food. Love. Hope. That’s the theme of the upcoming “The Big Bluesy,” presented by culturefix, a Williamsburg-based organization aiming to improve the city's cultural offerings for residents and visitors through fresh events and other creative placemaking opportunities.
This exciting blues event will take place September 17 and 18 as a weekend-long music festival. Come for the live music, food truck concessions and local craft beer and wine.
The event will be held at Jamestown Beach Event Park located along the James River at 2205 Jamestown Road in Williamsburg.
“The Big Bluesy” live music will roll on from 11 a.m. until 10:30 p.m. on Saturday, September 17 and 12 p.m. until 7 p.m. on Sunday, September 18.
The lineup of bands and musicians include: Anthony Rosano and The Conqueroos, Seth Stainback and Roosterfoot, Forrest McDonald Band, Slam Allen, Bobby BlackHat Band w/ Dirty Red, Herbie D and the Dangermen, THE BUSH LEAGUE, Billy Joe Trio featuring Billy, Joe Daniel, The Groove Cats, In Layman Terms, THE DOC ROBIN BAND, On The Verge, Atiba Taylor, Andrew Ballantyne, Dikon and Vallet and Amy Ferebee.
The weekend will be MC’d by Bobby BlackHat Walters.
