In celebration of The Arc of Greater Williamsburg’s 40th Anniversary and their mission to provide services for people with special needs, the Williamsburg Adult Community Center proudly announced it will present a benefit concert July 22 featuring the Big Band Music of “The Top Hats.”
For the past 35 years the “Top Hats Orchestra” has featured the fabulous big band sound, including hard driving swing, exciting Latins, great waltzes and beautiful ballads.
Funds from the concert will support the Arc of Greater Williamsburg, which works to improve the quality of life for people with intellectual disabilities through community activities and advocacy. The Arc of Greater Williamsburg has served people with intellectual and developmental disabilities in the community for 40 years, providing educational, health and wellness, life skills, cultural, social and recreational programs. In addition, The Arc of Greater Williamsburg provides respite time for families and caregivers.
The concert will be held Friday, July 22 at 7 p.m. at the Kimball Theatre in Colonial Williamsburg’s Merchants Square.
Tickets are on sale at The Arc’s office and the Kimball Theatre for $20 per ticket.
